ABOUT DELAWARE DART DORKS

Based out of Lums Pond Delaware, we will meet monthly in Area 3 for upwards of 300 fps wars with a variety of different game modes!

Alex founded this group after playing nerf in house with his friends for about a year and travelling around the tri-state area playing with local groups.

Ian is our enthusiastic admin, who was the first to join the Delaware Dart Dorks group!

RULES:

Please read the following rules with regard to playing with the Delaware Dart Dorks, make sure you read the below thoroughly and sign the waiver so as to be able to play!

1.Players must be at least 12 years old to attend our Nerf Wars. Players under 16 must be accompanied by an adult 2.All players must sign our liability waiver before they will be allowed to play. 3.All Players must provide their own protective eye wear and wear it during all times of play. 4.All Players must provide their own blasters; though some may be for rent this is to ensure play time. 5. All modified blasters must be checked before being used. 6.Any personal ammunition brought onto the field must be checked before being used in any game. We do not allow hard tipped darts of any kind which can cause injury or damage to blasters 7.An orange or otherwise colorful tip is required on all blasters, admin reserve the right to ask you to tape or color your blaster so as to distinguish it from a firearm. 8.Our Wars have a series of FPS limits such as 120, 250 and 300 FPS. Our standard maximum will be 250 FPS 9.Blasters should only be fired at participating players during games. 10.All players must dart sweep between game types 11.Theft of any kind will not be tolerated. Players caught stealing will be banned from playing and the police will be contacted. 12.If at any time “HOLD” is called, all players should stop and wait until the current situation is resolved before resuming play. 13.A player can be tagged anywhere except hair: Head, blaster, gear, clothes, etc. 14.No arguing. If a hit is called on a player they must take it without arguing. 15.Players will call their own hits however if another player calls a hit on you, it is considered a hit and you are to take it as such. 16.If a player is calling a hit on another player they must wait until they see their projectile make contact with another player before calling a hit 17.No blind firing; i.e. firing from behind cover without aiming. This is meant to reduce potential injury. 18.Do not slam into or jump over cover. 19.No spawn camping 20.Players that accidentally step out of bounds must re-enter the field where they stepped out. Players intentionally stepping out of bounds to avoid or make a tag will count as an elimination, and the offending player must return to respawn. Repeat offenders will incur extended respawn times or be ask to sit out the rest of the round.

Melee Weapon, Shield, Throwables Rules:

Shield Rules: 1.Shields cannot have any sharp corners, edges, or spikes and should be made of safe materials such as foam or soft plastic. 2.No holes for shooting your blaster through on your shield. 3.Shields must be carried by your non blaster wielding hand. 4.Any shield attached to a blaster will count as part of the blaster and not a shield. 5.Anyone wielding a shield will not be allowed to run any fully automatic blaster while carrying said shield. 6.Anyone wielding a shield of larger than 24 inches, considered a great shield, will be limited to a pistol Melee Rules: 1.Melee weapons are allowed but must be made of safe materials such as soft foam and be inspected by admin before being allowed. 2.Melee weapons cannot be wider than 10 inches, as anything larger could be used as a shield. 3.Melee hits should be from the neck down. Non-accidental/ Repeated Head shots will result in players being banned from using melee Throwables Rules from MNH: 1.Throw must be 100% foam with no internal core of any kind and cannot exceed 10 inches. 2.Current list of acceptable throwables: a.Specialty ammo (Mega/Mega XL) b.Sock bombs (a sock stuffed with socks or other soft material) c.Stress balls with no pointed edges 3.Anything other than the listed throwables must be inspected by admin before being used in a game
